Our Favorite Local Spots

When guests ask us where to eat or what to do, we never send them where the crowds go. East Hampton has its scene — and it’s fun — but there’s also a quieter side to this place that we love sharing. These are the spots we go to ourselves — unpretentious, quality-driven, and just under the radar enough to feel like a local discovery.

Carissa’s Bakery is our essential morning stop. Whether it’s their flakey croissants or the softest sourdough you’ve ever tasted, everything feels handmade with love.

For lunch, we love Bostwick’s Chowder House for casual seafood done right. Think lobster rolls, clam strips, and grilled fish tacos with a cold beer or lemonade on the side. The vibe is relaxed, the food always hits, and it’s just a short drive from the property.

At dinner, Nick & Toni’s is a classic for a reason. If you’re looking for something a little more low-key but just as satisfying, East Hampton Grill is always a solid choice — elevated comfort food with consistently great service.

At Journey, we’re happy to share what we personally enjoy — and we love helping guests find their new favorite spots on the East End. Just ask.
